Terry Gordon

Terry Gordon

Managing Director  – Triodia Tropicana

Director – Triodia Australia

Born in Kalgoorlie, Terry was introduced to the mining industry in the Goldfields when he was 18. In the intervening years, Terry has been involved in surface, underground, civil works and labour hire with various mining organisations throughout the Goldfields and Pilbara regions.

Triodia was established in 2005, which was the precursor to Triodia Tropicana (2015) and Triodia Australia (2021), came about with the vision of the Gordon family to provide meaningful employment career pathways for people of the Goldfields communities.

Working with the Clontarf Academies (Perth and Kalgoorlie) and other various organisations, Terry’s longstanding vision has been to proactively work with indigenous communities to providing employment, meaningful career paths and skills development opportunities.

Ryan Gordon

Ryan Gordon

Born in Kalgoorlie, Ryan was introduced to the rail maintenance industry when he was 20 after a short spell studying Human Movement and Medicine at the University of Western Australia (UWA).

Ryan was instrumental in the creation of Triodia Australia which is focused on providing both Civil and Rail Construction and Maintenance opportunities within Western Australia.

Ryan has over 17 years of experience within the rail industry and has developed many skills in asset and maintenance management of all aspects within rail and heavy haul environments.

He has a proven ability to lead and develop significant-sized workforces developing experience in managing all aspects of HSE of large workforces working in remote locations.

Ryan is a board member on the Goldfields Aboriginal Business Chamber and has been a keynote speaker at several events.

Jamie Gordon

Director – Triodia Energy

Jamie is a qualified Electrician who completed his apprenticeship at the Water Corporation gaining extensive experience working on a range of their assets including new installations, upgrades and maintenance of pump stations, treatment plants, tank sites, telemetry sites, generator sites and booster pump sites.

Jamie also holds rail access qualifications giving him the ability to work on both PTA and ARC rail networks.

Andy Noble

Director – Triodia Australia

A highly dedicated and success-driven Business Development Director with extensive background in business operations, specifically in high level leadership, engineering, project management, sales & marketing, risk management, bid management gained from almost three decades of employment history within the Energy & Resources industries.  Equipped with strong problem-solving and team-leadership background, adept at evaluating viable options, transforming ideas into practical realities, and executing feasable plans that bring in results.

Marty Edwards

Martin Edwards

Operations Supervisor

Martin comes from a career background built on business development, account management and leadership roles across a broad spectrum of industries. A former business owner in the telecommunications and lifestyle industries. Martin moved into mining in 2010 and over the last 14 years has focused his attention on Track Protection, Traffic Management & rail maintenance on heavy haul rail networks in the Perth & Pilbara regions of WA, gaining on the ground experience in rail maintenance, rail network renewals, Flashbutt welding and Track Protection/Safeworking.

More recently Martin was responsible for managing a team of 60+ personnel providing Track Protection & Traffic Management services on the PTA, ARC, Roy Hill, Rio Tinto, BHP & FMG rail networks, gaining personal safe working accreditations on all of these networks and combines this with field experience across all WA networks.

Martin joined Triodia in 2021 as the Operations Supervisor with a focus on recruiting and developing a team of Safeworking & Traffic Management personnel to support our customers operations across WA and more recently has taken on broader role overseeing all resourcing.

Chris Bennell

Chris Bennell

Civil Supervisor

With over 25 years’ experience in civil construction, starting as a final trim grader operator on roadworks, Chris quickly developed into a highly valued leading hand and supervisor with Triodia.

Chris’s excellent safety record is matched by his varied and flexible skill set across all areas of the civil construction sector.

With proven expertise in civil works, his vast experience includes major LNG projects, significant infrastructure developments, plus mining and resources earthworks.

Chris has a team of 10 highly skilled Machine Operators reporting to him working across various locations including a long-standing relationship with the team at West Coast Civil at Perth Airport.

A skilled supervisor who inspires other personnel, his ability to respectfully mentor Aboriginal staff at Triodia is matched by his enthusiasm to share his knowledge with the next generation.

Jamie Barnes

Jamie Barnes

Electrical Supervisor

After completing his electrical apprenticeship, Jamie started with a leading company in the UK dealing with maintenance and construction in industrial and commercial areas. He quickly moved his way up to become a foreman, mentoring over 50 electricians.
 
Jamie moved to Australia in 2005 and continued his electrical career working for a small company and in 2012 started working on rail projects, maintaining both fixed and Mobile Flashbutt welders.
 
He stayed in the industry until 2019 and then moved into the oil and gas industry for 2 years. In 2021, Jamie joined Triodia as a Flashbutt specialist and has since moved into the role of Electrical Supervisor with a number of Electrical Apprentices under his direction. 
 
Jamie has completed his electrical nominees course, allowing Triodia to tender for large scale electrical projects.  
 

Jack Tutte

Project Superintendent

Jack’s expertise in building and construction is extensive. A qualified Carpenter of 14 years, he started his career doing residential carpentry and roofing. As leading hand, he moved into formwork and civil construction on various projects in North-West WA, including significant time at major site developments like Roy Hill and Wheatstone.

Jack then travelled overseas to see the world, expanding his skillsets by working in the Canadian oil fields, taking care of pump upgrades and civil construction. Returning to Australia, he spent many years working in Melbourne on large multi-story buildings, leading teams of up to 40 people and delivering high end tier 1 concrete projects.

Now at Triodia Australia in Western Australia, Jack is focused on supervising construction and maintenance projects across the rail, mining and civil sectors.

Jack takes great pride in teaching others his trade, helping develop strong teams and new workforce leaders.

Ronan Oswald

Group HSEQ & Compliance Manager

Ronan’s role is the culmination of a long and varied career in leadership positions that began at IBM, Xerox and Vodafone.

After changing his career path 20 years ago to the mining industry, Ronan is still expanding his knowledge in the field of HSE and enjoys mentoring and sharing knowledge with the Triodia Team.

This includes but is not limited to being recognised with several safety innovation awards and being instrumental in gaining ISO certification for the Triodia group of companies.

As part of our leadership team Ronan’s main focus is encouraging a Zero harm culture, and maintaining the Triodia Group ISO certification for Safety, Quality and Environment.
